After cutting hundreds of fish with the Rapala R12 HD Lithium Ion Fish Fillet Knife, I want to share my experience with this newly launched high-end wireless electric knife, which allows you to clean fish quickly and conveniently from any location. The R12 Knife Combo is equipped with a durable EVA foam zipper case, two lithium batteries, each of which can be charged for multiple cleanings, a charger, two sets of 7 1/2 inch and 9 inch PTFE-coated HD blades And user manual.

I like the weight and grip of the Rapala R12 HD lithium knife. It will not be too heavy or too large to be held comfortably in the hand. When you have a 12-inch blade, it will be very long, but even so, it is not clumsy. When you guide the blade through the slicing process, the good weight allows you to press the fish well.

The R12 HD Lithium blade swings at an extremely fast speed, providing you with a clean and smooth cut when you guide the knife between the skin and the fillet. This will make it easier to get more meat and help you quickly resolve crappie or other fish restrictions.

The PTFE coating keeps the blades frictionless and helps them slip through the meat more easily. This allows you to get very close cuts on both sides of the fish, so you only leave a thin layer of spine on the body and maximize the meat you get from each side of the fish.

My favorite part of these new lithium electric knives is that you can charge several batteries and cut fish almost throughout the season without having to worry about charging them all the time. I have cut a dozen or two crappies 5 or 6 times in a row, but there is still charge in the knife battery. The R12 HD Lithium Knife provides you with great convenience, because now I clean my fish at the portable fish station without worrying about hooks, etc., and can easily and quickly discard my fish innards.

I personally have a vertical fish fillet table and a large Rapala fish fillet board and a bucket that I carry with me or keep it at home. I often clean the back of the tailgate, pour the viscera into the bucket, wash the fish, clean up my mess, then pour the viscera in the garden or put it back in the lake of the fish cleaning station so that I don’t get stink Put it on the trash can.

This knife did get a lot of heat when cleaning 25 crappies, but this did not affect the performance of the knife. It will not be too hot to hold. Next time I cut fish fillets it is in perfect working condition. I have seen people comment on heat, but this is not a problem in my personal experience.

The knife set packs everything you need in a small suitcase. I also put a few more sets of original Rapala electric round knives, because they are also suitable for this new electric knife. I like to rotate my blade to keep it sharper.
