Yes, the holidays are approaching, creeping, making their way to our doorstep in a super sneaky way and this year most of us simply don’t have the energy, brainpower, or patience for those gift lists.

Luckily, we’re here to try and help you out!

Whether you’re looking for holiday gifts or just want to treat yourself to some new goodies, ceramic cookware is a huge trend that has exploded onto the kitchen scene. Honestly, ceramic is generally a bit more expensive, yet what you spend in the store (or online) you save both for your health and the length of time it lasts.

Ceramic cookware differentiates itself due to the ceramic coating, which is a mineral coating “free of PTFE and PFO (commonly called Teflon) as well as heavy metals” and it also happens to be naturally stick free. On top of that, ceramic coating “helps distribute heat evenly across the cooking surface,” therefore food is cooked evenly no matter where it is in the pan.

Alright, so ceramic cookware may prepare your food more efficiently and keeps those non-stick pan toxins free and clear of your kitchen, but are there any downsides?

Yes, ceramic is a bit more expensive, but they last longer. It’s important to hand wash, so you’ll need to spend a few extra minutes scrubbing instead of popping into the dishwasher. Lastly, you don’t ever want to use metal utensils on ceramic pans as they can damage the ceramic coating. With that said, this gives you an opportunity to purchase some sustainable cooking utensils!

Kenmore Arlington Ceramic Cookware/Amazon.com

This Kenmore Arlington Ceramic Cookware is all about healthy living and safe cooking with PFOA and PTFE-free ratings! This 12-piece environmentally friendly set is durable, energy-efficient, low maintenance, and versatile. The set includes two saucepans with lids, a dutch oven, saute pan, and two frying pans, plus a wood slotten turner and a wood slotted spoon. A blue interior and tempered glass lids allow for stylish and safe cooking! Plus, this set is compatible with gas, electric, glass, and induction stovetops. A 12-piece set costs $127.95.

Fiaca007 says “I love my cookware!!! It’s my first time buying hard anodized and I wish I would have done it earlier for the following reasons:

1) the food doesn’t burn; since the hard anodized heats evenly its like cooking in the oven, without putting it in the oven. Ex) I cooked chicken breast and it was very soft and juicy at the end. (my old stainless steel will leave it dry and burnt/sticked to the fry pan) 2) I use less oil, food doesn’t stick and super easy to wash them after – feels healthier. 3) the pots didn’t change their interior color after cooking. (My old pots used to change when making beans or use different tomato sauces, it would leave a line color around it)

I definitely recommend this cookware! 1) The pots have measurements inside which helps when you’re following recipes 2) You can use the sauté glass lids for the fry pan too 3) the handles are the right size to hold it with one hand, they don’t get hot and it’s not heavy.

I knew Kenmore was a good brand and I was not disappointed with my pots!”

Vremi Ceramic Cookware Set/Amazon.com

Right off the bat, this ceramic cookware catches the eye due to that super chic, super cute, and unique yellow color! Not only will you enjoy cooking with these stylish pots, but they can easily go from stovetop to tabletop as dishware. This Vremi Ceramic Cookware Set is an 8-piece set that includes 2 dutch oven pots (with lids), 1 casserole pot (with lid), and 2 angled frying pan skillets. The ceramic coating allows for even heating, reduces burns, and increases the delicious outcome of your food. On top of that, this set has wood-tone handles — great for tossing and moving while hot — and the lids offer a safe steam release without making a disaster mess on your stove. Great for gas, electric, and halogen stovetops. An 8-piece set costs $109.99.

Kindle Customer says “We threw out all our teflon and nonstick cookware a few years ago and have been using our cast iron pan for everything nonstick. While I love my cast iron, it’s a pain to clean so many times a day, so I wanted to get some nonstick cookware that would fit in with our holistic lifestyle. Research indicated ceramic would be a healthy alternative to Teflon, so we decided to give this set a try. I have put these pans to work for the past week and I’m in love! They heat evenly and quickly on my flat top stove. The handles are wood, so they do get a little warm, but not so hot that I can’t pick them. And, most importantly, they are a breeze to clean!”

Bialetti Ceramic Pro Cookware Set/Amazon.com

You may be familiar with Bialetti coffee makers known for their sleek and high-quality design. Bialetti takes its reliable design to a set of ceramic cookware. This Bialetti Ceramic Pro Cookware Set offers a unique, superior heat distribution system due to heavy-gauge, hard-anodized aluminum that is heat safe up to 400 degrees. This means you can take this cookware from the stovetop to the oven! Made from eco-friendly, nonstick ceramic coating, these pans are tough, long-lasting, and toxic-free! What do you get? Sauté pans, saucepans, deep sauté pan, and a dutch oven.  A 10-piece set costs $180.44.

Ellie says “I bought these pots and pans because I had used them in a furnished vacation rental and had really liked them. I had been using really expensive stainless for years, which also had solid stainless lids and I found that this non-stick surface worked really well and I liked being able to see through the glass tops. These are able to go in the dishwasher, which is prime for me (some other Bialettis do not–so be careful when ordering). So far, I am very satisfied. I cannot speak to wearability, because I have not used these for very long. Those in the rental were excellent, but I have no idea how long they had been there or how much use they got.”

Calphalon Ceramic Nonstick Cookware Set/Amazon.com

Simple and sleek, this set will boost the aesthetic appeal and usability of any kitchen! This Calphalon Ceramic Nonstick Cookware Set promises to be as nonstick as possible without using any toxic chemicals offering easy food release — right onto the plate — and super quick cleanup — no burnt-on food scrubbing. What’s unique about this set? These pots and pans have convenient measuring marks, pour spouts, and straining lids making precise recipe cooking a breeze. Made with a safe ceramic coating and hard-anodized aluminum this set is long-lasting. This set includes 2 fry pans, a round griddle, sauté pan, 2 saucepans, and a dutch oven.  An 11-piece set costs $425.00.

Echelle Kay says “I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but this set is AMAZING! We bought it as a temporary solution while I send back my old tephlon coated set to Calphalon for a warranty review. I hate to admit it, but I like this set so much better than the $500 set I’m sending in for warranty issues. I can literally cook without any added fats or oils and NOTHING sticks. We’ve made eggs, paninis with lots of extra cheese, and I even over did my pancakes thanks to a crying baby and everything washed right off with ease. They do take a tad bit longer to heat up, but I also feel that they cook more evenly than my more expensive set. If you’re on the fence, buy this set!!!”

T-fal Ceramic Thermo-Spot Heat Indicator Cookware Set/Amazon.com

If you’re looking for a middle of the ground ceramic pot set — hitting a reasonable price point without sacrificing on quality — then this T-fal Ceramic Thermo-Spot Heat Indicator Cookware Set is the ticket! For a little over a hundred dollars, you’ll receive 3 different sized fry pans, 2 different sized saucepans, a dutch over, and 4 nylon tools. Similar to more expensive ceramic sets, T-fall promises the same even heat distribution, easy-clean, and toxic-free — free of PFOA, lead, and cadmium. The ceramic interior is both nonstick and stain-resistant and also happens to be dishwasher safe! Plus, go straight from stovetop to oven with these pans that resist heat up to 570 degrees Fahrenheit. A 14-piece set costs $104.99.

Amazon Customer says “I absolutely love this set! Exceeded my expectations and works so well! Follow the directions of how to take care of these pots and pans and they are great! Always use low heat, not too much butter or oil and they heat up so fast ( using a gas stove) and food cooks fast! Food does not stick and they clean so easily! Make sure to use a soft sponge, never a rough, abrasive sponge to clean them.. there is no need to anyway! after use make sure to let them cool down before you rinse them to clean then, otherwise they will not as effective. Follow the steps in the manual of how to clean, use and care for these pots and they are absolutely amazing! These are a great choice!”

Farberware Ceramic Nonstick Cookware Pots and Pans Set/Amazon

Ultra affordable, yet still highly rated, this Farberware Ceramic Nonstick Cookware Pots and Pans Set is under a hundred dollars and includes 12 pieces! This set includes 1 saucepan, a dutch oven, a mini frying pan, 3 frying pans, a slotted turner, a slotted spoon, and a solid spoon. While they have a lower heat resistance — 350 degrees Fahrenheit — these aluminum pots and pans are just as durable, versatile, nonstick, and fashionable as the more expensive sets. A 12-piece set costs $64.45.

Dorothy Beaury says “Exactly like the picture! I would caution this is CERAMIC wear. You will need season these pans similar to cast iron. I took my pans and my stock/soup pan and coated with oil on top of the stove and waited to see it bubble then spread the oil over any spots that didn’t bubble. Finally, after cooling, I wiped clean with a soft towel. I do not use a scrubber at all to clean these – just a soft sponge and warm water. If you season these work just as well as an instant Pot.”

Neoflam Midas Ceramic Cookware Set with Detachable Handle/Amazon.com

If you’re looking for a quirky accent for a small kitchen, then I’ve found the perfect ceramic set! This Neoflam Midas Ceramic Cookware Set with Detachable Handle is uniquely designed for detachable handles for super easy storage in small cabinets or on tight shelves, plus all the pieces have plastic lids that convert pans and pots to food storage containers — straight from stovetop to refrigerator! Plus, Neoflam Midas uses Ecolon nonstick ceramic coating, which is PTFE and PFOA free, while still providing that high-quality heat distribution and long-lasting durability. The set includes a lifetime warranty for a saucepan, 2 stockpots, and a frying pan, all of which come with those lids! A 9-piece set costs $101.04.

OMEvans says “I really do love these pots and pans. I did need to augment the collection with a larger stockpot because none of these are large enough to make a big pot of soup/stew. But the sizes are great for everyday use. I love how versitile they are. They can be a pot or a casserole. I like the detachable handle a lot. It took me a few uses to really get the genius of it, but it really is genius. They are very easy to wash. The non stick is the best I have seen. I have had the pots for several months now and they look just like they did on the day that I bought them.”

GreenPan Padova Healthy Ceramic Nonstick Blush Frying Pan Set/Amazon.com

Alright, if you’re looking for chic, beautiful, cute, and simple, then GreenPan is the company! This GreenPan Padova Healthy Ceramic Nonstick Blush Frying Pan Set is a bit on the pricier side — about eighty dollars for 2 pans — yet it’s hard to match the style and quality of these pans! GreenPan uses a healthy ceramic coating that is free of PFAS, PFOA, lead, and cadmium. This means even if you overheat these pans, they won’t release toxins! GreenPan ceramic pans are unique in that they are metal utensil safe due to a diamond-reinforced coating and they can withstand heat up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit — that’s broiler temps! GreenPan also promises these pans as dishwasher safe without risking warping or wobbling over time. A 2-pan set costs $79.99.

Gotham Steel Premium Ceramic Cookware/Amazon.com

The gold hammered steel of these pans is an artwork addition to any kitchen! This Gotham Steel Premium Ceramic Cookware is not only beautiful, but also healthy, non-toxic, — free of PFOA, PFOS, lead, and cadmium — and ultra-nonstick with a combination of ceramic and titanium coating. Scratch-resistant, dishwasher safe, cool-safe handles, and super durable, these pots will last and look good doing all the hard work of cooking. This set includes a full outfit for the kitchen including 2 fry pans, 2 saucepans, a stock pot, and a stainless steel steamer.  A 10-piece set costs $118.09.

MinceNoWordsGirl says “Looks wonderful…it’s not a dark copper color like the cheap imitations, it’s a pale copper. Easy to clean, nice and weighty in quality. Even heat distribution as well. The insert said NOT to put them in the dishwasher, so I do wash them by hand. A great buy! I look forward to increasing my set in due time.”

GreenLife Soft Grip Healthy Ceramic Nonstick Cookware/Amazon.com

For the kitchen that needs a bit of blush, give these GreenLife soft pink ceramic pots and pans a try! This GreenLife Soft Grip Healthy Ceramic Nonstick Cookware is a whopping twelve-piece set — 2 fry pans, a saucepan, a stockpot, a sauté pan, a stainless steel steamer, a nylon ladle, a nylon slotted turner, and a five-piece measuring spoon kit — for under a hundred dollars. This kit comes with soft grip bakelite handles that remain cool on the stovetop, yet the pans are made from durable, recycled aluminum. Transfer from stovetop to oven for temperatures up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.  A 12-piece set costs $79.99.

Hayley says “It took me a VERY long time figuring out if I wanted to purchase this item or not. There were sooooooo many negative reviews and I just did not want to waste my money. After this choice being in my bottom 2, I decided to just say “what the heck” and bought this one. I must say, I am SOOO happy with my choice!!!! I love love love these pans. I read some reviews from users stating they broke easily or the handle is catching on fire or the utensils are melting while chooking… none of that has happened to me and I cook using these pots almost every day. Any time I have company they always compliment the turquoise color. For washing, I do not use the dishwasher. I follow the rules exactly as they say and hand washing is best for a longer life!!!! I use sometimes only my hands and light soap or will use a washcloth with light soap. I follow the rule of low to medium cooking temps and my pans have stayed in great shape. I am very gentle with them. If you want stuff to last, take care of it!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 If you can’t decide to purchase this right now, please consider this comment to make your decision!! You won’t regret it 😊 to know they are healthy for your family to! Also I always got nervous if the positive commenter is paid for or if negative comments are from a rival company… can I just say, I am a real person lol I verify I am a normal person who purchased this!!”
